By Road

Distance: 110 km from Mumbai, 60 km from Pune
One can take the Express highway from Mumbai or Pune and take the Lonavala - Khandala exit to enter Lonavala.

Modes of Transport

Bus

There are private and government luxury A/c and Non A/c Busses running between Mumbai and Pune every half an hour. One can take the busses from Borivili, Andheri, Dadar, Sion, Vashi, and Thane. Some of the prominent operators are Neeta Travels and Raj National Travels and MRSTC busses, etc.

Cabs

Private A/c - Non A/c Cool cabs are available on daily basis from various points like Dadar, Vile Parle, Chembur, etc

By Air

The nearest airport is Pune airport 60 kms and Mumbai 110 kms. Both the airports are having frequent flights from various cities all over India.

By Rail

Lonavala is well connected with Pune and Mumbai with all the trains halting at Lonavala. One can board trains from CST station, Dadar Terminus and Kalyan station. Some of the important trains are Deccan Express, Sahyadri Express, Mumbai - Pune intercity, etc.
